I started analog recording in the 1990’s, obtained my certificate in Recording Arts from Diablo Valley College, and graduated from San Francisco State University in 2017 with a degree in Cinema. My senior thesis film was titled “Monstrum.”  

 

I have the most experience working in the sound department, but have worked in many other capacities on film sets, including: producing, directing, art department, props, writing, editing, sound design and as a production assistant. I am a member of IATSE Local 16.

 

I’ve been together with my wife, Melanie, for 20 years. We have a great dog, Speedy. He's in the picture with me at Golden Gate Park. I am a California native and have lived in the Bay Area for most of my life.
